GRANDDADDY PURP

Granddaddy Purp (Cali 90 Cut)

Purple Urkle × Big Bud

Originally introduced by legendary California breeder
Ken Estes in the early 2000s,
Granddaddy Purple (GDP) is one of the most recognizable
indica-dominant cultivars in cannabis history.
Combining the rich purple coloration and unmistakable
grape aroma of Purple Urkle with the dense flower
structure of Big Bud, this West Coast classic helped
define an entire generation of purple genetics.

The Cali 90 Cut is a clone selection
of this iconic cultivar, prized for the old-school
characteristics that made Granddaddy Purp a household
name. Expect compact, resin-covered flowers displaying
deep violet and purple hues alongside rich green
coloration, fiery orange pistils, and a thick coating
of frosty trichomes. Its signature aromatic profile
combines sweet grape candy, ripe berries, earthy
undertones, and a subtle herbal spice.

A true California classic, Granddaddy Purp remains
a cornerstone of old-school purple genetics.
Its distinctive appearance, unmistakable fruity
aroma, and dense, resinous flower structure have
secured its place among the most influential
indica varieties. For collectors and growers who
appreciate the legendary cultivars that shaped
West Coast cannabis culture, the Cali 90 Cut
offers a connection to this celebrated genetic line.
